About us

What's new

The Hilo Junior Tennis Club teaches juniors how to play the game of tennis.  We'll work with juniors from the beginner stage to advanced players.  We'll teach them the basics of forehand and backhand shots, how to serve, volleying at the net, and game strategy.  And best of all, they get to play!

But, there is more to it than just getting good at hitting a tennis ball with a racket and scoring points.  Tennis is a sport that promotes sportsmanship, etiquette, and conduct. So our juniors learn the Rules of Tennis which provide life lessons as well.

The Hilo Junior Tennis Club is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization.  We have no paid employees.  We depend on parents to provide the club with leadership and manpower.
