The Hilo Junior Tennis Club teaches juniors how to play the game of tennis.  We'll work with juniors from the beginner stage to advanced players.  We'll teach them the basics of forehand and backhand shots, how to serve, volleying at the net, and game strategy.  And best of all, they get to play!

But, there is more to it than just getting good at hitting a tennis ball with a racket and scoring points.  Tennis is a sport that promotes sportsmanship, etiquette, and conduct. So our juniors learn the Rules of Tennis which provide life lessons as well.

The Hilo Junior Tennis Club is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization.  We have no paid employees.  We depend on parents to provide the club with leadership and manpower.

If your interested in signing up your child, please check out the other links at the top of the page.

  • Thank you to all our members for coming out for the Hilo Jr. Tennis Club Fun Night.  We couldn't have done it without the support of our board members and all the parents! Check out the photos.
  • We'd also like to thank all the volunteers who helped at the Orange Ball/Green Dot tournament!
  • October 12 -14 Hilo Jr. Tennis Club Tournament (Level 6) 12s - 18s Yellow Ball
